LA COMPAGNIE
Basée à Montréal, la compagnie Cas Public est dirigée par la chorégraphe Hélène Blackburn, en collaboration avec Cai Glover, artiste associé. Jouissant d'un vaste réseau de diffusion, la compagnie présente ses spectacles au Québec, au Canada et à l'international. Cas Public est à la recherche d'interprètes pour sa saison 2026-2027.
PROFIL RECHERCHÉ
Les interprètes recherché·e·s doivent posséder :
- Un haut niveau technique en danse classique et/ou contemporaine
- Un intérêt marqué pour le travail de partenaire et le travail collaboratif
- Une forte présence scénique et une grande disponibilité physique
- La maîtrise du travail sur pointes constitue un atout
- La connaissance d'autres techniques de danse constitue également un atout
ADMISSIBILITÉ
Les candidat·e·s doivent être :
- Citoyen·ne·s canadien·ne·s
- Résident·e·s permanent·e·s
- Ou détenir un permis de travail ouvert valide au Canada

- Curriculum vitæ artistique complet

PRÉSÉLECTION

L'audition se déroulera sur deux journées :
- Vendredi 29 mai 2026, de 17 h à 20 h
- Samedi 30 mai 2026, de 13 h à 17 h

THE COMPANY
Based in Montreal, Cas Public is led by choreographer Hélène Blackburn, in collaboration with associate artist, Cai Glover. With an extensive touring network, the company presents its work throughout Quebec, across Canada, and internationally. Cas Public is seeking dancers for its 2026–2027 season.
PROFILE SOUGHT
Selected dancers must demonstrate:
- A high level of technical proficiency in classical and/or contemporary dance
- A strong interest in partnering work and collaborative processes
- Strong stage presence and excellent physical capabilities
- Pointe work experience is considered an asset
- Knowledge of additional dance techniques is also considered an asset
ELIGIBILITY
Applicants must be:
- Canadian citizens
- Permanent residents
- Or hold a valid open work permit in Canada
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- Complete artistic curriculum vitæ
- Portrait photo (JPG or TIFF, min. 300 dpi)
- Action/movement photo (JPG or TIFF, min. 300 dpi)
- Short video featuring at least one choreographed solo (Vimeo or YouTube link)

The audition will take place over two days:
- Friday, May 29, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
- Saturday, May 30, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
